As climate change intensifies extreme rainfall, communities are increasingly experiencing cloudburst events that overwhelm traditional stormwater infrastructure and create significant risks to public safety, property, and the environment. In this webinar, a climate scientist, stormwater engineer, and construction manager will share their perspectives on how these increasingly frequent events are reshaping planning, design, and construction practices.

Presenters will discuss the science behind cloudbursts, evolving regulations and risk assessment approaches, adaptive stormwater BMPs and resilience-focused design strategies, and key construction planning considerations for managing extreme precipitation events.
